John Doran

John served as an SRI auditor/trainer for IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001, and ISO 20000-1 Internal Auditor courses which included documentation, interpretation, and implementation methodologies. He is also certified to perform ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 registration/surveillance audits. He has conducted extensive training in core tools, statistical analysis and process parameter optimization utilizing DOE techniques. John, while holding management representative and SQE positions, has conducted hundreds of first and second-party audits for a wide variety of small, medium, and international organizations.

John has over 35 years of Quality Management Systems experience across several industry sectors including stamping, screw machine, welding, cold heading, injection molding, electroplating, heat treatment, Civil Engineering (Waste / Clean Water, Road, and Bridge), medical device, manual clutches, wheel fabrication, lithium-ion battery production, wire harness and dashboard assembly, as well as AFS sand and investment casting foundry / metallurgical experience. John co-authored an AFS sponsored paper on Wax Etchants presented at the AFS Birmingham, AL convention.

Johns extensive professional experience includes over 35 years of QMS auditing and core tool/statistical instructing experience. He has also instituted and maintained ISO 13485 systems. He has held positions as SQE, Quality Manager, Quality Director, Design Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Operation Manager, General Manager, and I.T. Manager.

John holds degrees in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, and Metallurgy. Successful completion of ASQ CQE and IATF 16949 Lead Auditor Exams / IAOB modules.
