Mac McRoberts

Mac has 44 years of manufacturing experience includes 31 years as a Manager of Quality and Metallurgy for aerospace, automotive and commercial industries.  He holds a BS degree in Metallurgical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Quality Management, as well as a Train-the-Trainer Certificate.

Mac has performed internal and external audits of over 250 different companies in nine countries to the requirements of ISO 9000, QS-9000, ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949, ASME, military and nuclear standards since 1975.  He has hands on manufacturing experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and has trained over 1000 people in SPC applications since 1975.  He also developed and taught courses in Leadership Principles and SMED.

Mac has been a member of numerous APQP teams; facilitated and reviewed PPAP submittals; performed numerous MSA studies from 1998 to present day; facilitated over 100 DFMEA and PFMEA teams and has taught courses in APQP, PPAP, MSA, Measurement Uncertainty, Team Problem Solving, Train-the-Trainer, FMEA, and Control Plans.

Mac has also taught over 500 students in multiple industries how to perform management system and product audits in a variety of standards and specifications.

Mac worked full-time as a Consultant/Trainer/Auditor for multiple manufacturing and service industries.  In this position he assisted over 50 facilities in becoming third party certified to ISO 9001, QS-9000, ISO 14001, AS 9000 and ISO/TS 16949 without a Major nonconformance.
